The Life Balance programs focus on solutions that really work
for every walk of life, regardless of age, gender or
marital/parental status. Mary has the following goals
for each presentation:
Participants will:
- Adopt
a new approach to life balance. Most of the old life
balance strategies for balancing work and home life
focus on how to do more: work harder and faster, grip tighter
and sleep less. We don't need to know how to do more.
How much faster could we possibly go? We are exhausted from
gripping so tightly. We are not going to find balance on our
to-do lists. Participants will adopt a new approach that actually
makes sense.
- Identify
specific, innovative "work in real life" ideas
that will not require more time or money and don't necessarily require
that we "be there". The strengths of each program are
the powerful ideas that people will use for years to come.
- Leave the program feeling less overwhelmed and will begin to give
themselves credit for all the good they do. Their lowered stress
level can result in better productivity, less absenteeism and fewer
health problems. Participants will focus less on what was left undone
and more on the incredible results they accomplish. In short, they
will feel good.
And feeling good is what life balance is all about!
